Epoxy resin dry-type transformers use epoxy resin as the insulating material. High and low voltage windings are wound with copper tape (foil) and epoxy resin is poured and cured in a vacuum to form a high strength FRP body structure. Insulation grades are F and H. Epoxy resin dry type transformer has good electrical performance, strong resistance to lightning shock, strong resistance to short circuit, small volume and light weight, etc. Temperature display controller can be installed to display and control the operating temperature of the transformer windings to ensure the normal service life of the transformer.

Product Description
Epoxy resin is a non-combustible, flame retardant, self-extinguishing solid insulating material that is safe and clean. It is also a solid insulation material with reliable insulation and heat dissipation technology that has been proven for over 40 years.
Structural features
1. All high and low voltage windings are made of copper tape (foil);
2. All high and low voltage windings are cast in vacuum with epoxy resin and cured to form a high strength FRP body structure;
3, High and low voltage windings are equipped with longitudinal ventilation channels according to heat dissipation requirements;
4、The inner and outer surface of the coil is reinforced by glass fiber mesh;
5、Insulation grade is F, H grade;
6、Epoxy resin dry-type transformers are small in size and light in weight. The temperature display controller can be installed on the epoxy resin dry type transformer to display and control the operating temperature of the transformer windings to ensure the normal service life of the transformer. Its temperature measuring sensor PT100 platinum resistor is inserted into the low voltage winding to obtain the temperature signal, which is processed by the circuit and then cyclically displayed on the control board for each phase winding temperature. It has the function of temperature setting, manual/automatic start/stop fan, issuing fault, over-temperature sound and light signal alarm and over-temperature automatic tripping, etc. It has the national anti-electromagnetic interference ability. At the same time reserved with intelligent computer interface, to achieve remote control. The epoxy resin dry type transformer is equipped with low noise amplitude flow fan, which can reduce the winding temperature after starting, improve the load capacity and prolong the life of the transformer; when forced air cooling is adopted, the rated capacity can be increased by 40-50%.
Technical characteristics
(1)Good electrical performance,low value of partial discharge:In the transformer insulation structure,there will be more or less local insulation weakness,it will first discharge under the action of electric field,and not then form the whole insulation penetration breakdown,it may occur in the surface or inside the insulator,namely partial discharge. However, most of the damage or partial aging of electrical insulation starts from partial discharge, and its harmful effects are highlighted by the rapid reduction of insulation life, which eventually affects safe operation. Dry-type transformers due to its unique structure (high and low voltage winding all use copper tape (foil) winding) and its advanced manufacturing process level (high and low voltage winding all in the vacuum pouring epoxy resin and curing), so that its partial discharge value is low.
(2) Strong lightning shock resistance: As all high and low voltage windings are made of copper tape (foil), the interlayer voltage is low and the capacitance is large, and the starting voltage distribution of the foil winding is close to linear, so its lightning shock resistance is strong.
(3) Strong resistance to short-circuit: As the high and low voltage windings have the same reactance height, there is no spiral angle phenomenon, and the ampere-turn balance between the coils, the axial force caused by short-circuit in the high and low voltage windings is almost zero, so its resistance to short-circuit is strong.
(4) Good anti-cracking performance: dry-type transformers using epoxy resin “thin insulation (1-3mm) technology”, to meet the low temperature, high temperature and temperature changes in a wide range of occasions, to meet the long-term operation of the anti-cracking requirements, to solve the “thick insulation (6mm) technology It solves the problem of cracking which is difficult to be solved by “thick insulation (6mm) technology” and makes the dry type transformer reliable in technology.
(5) overload capacity: if the same capacity of the transformer load loss equal, then the area of copper foil will be correspondingly larger than the copper conductor, the volume increases, the amount of filler resin correspondingly increased, so the winding thermal capacitance is large, the transformer short time overload capacity.
(6)Good flame-retardant performance:Adopting epoxy resin vacuum casting process without environmental pollution,which is conducive to environmental protection,the transformer has maintenance-free,moisture-proof,damp heat resistant,flame-retardant and self-extinguishing characteristics,which is suitable for various environments and harsh conditions of the occasion.
(7) low loss, low noise: the core usually uses mineral oxide insulation of high-quality cold-rolled silicon steel sheet, through advanced processing technology, so that the loss level and no-load current is reduced to a minimum, and to obtain a very low noise level. The assembled cores are also sealed and coated with Class F resin paint to protect them from dust, corrosion, smoke and rust.
(8) High temperature resistance level: epoxy resin dry type transformer belongs to F or H level insulation, which can operate safely at 155℃ or 180℃ for a long time. Under the same capacity, its volume is small, light weight, can save installation cost, etc.
(9) Related technical specifications: ①Capacity ≤ 10000KVA; ②Voltage ≤ 35KV; ③Insulation class F or H.
