According to the different leakage parts, various treatment measures such as welding-based and welding-blocking combination should generally be implemented.
1. Welding
For oil leakage caused by welding or the defects of the steel itself, the method of repair welding can be used to deal with it. Welding with oil should be carried out without significant oil leakage, and the welding part must be below the oil level. Otherwise, the vacuuming method should be used to form negative pressure before welding, and the vacuum degree of negative pressure should not be too high. It is advisable to keep the internal and external pressures equal to avoid inhaling molten iron. It is generally forbidden to use gas welding for repair welding with oil. It is appropriate to use a thinner electrode for welding. During repair welding, the oil traces on the welding part should be removed. During the welding process, attention should be paid to prevent penetration and ignition. When the welding time is long, intermittent and rapid spot welding should be used. The arcing time should be controlled within 10s-20s. Long-term continuous welding is absolutely not allowed. to prevent welding through. When repairing the pores with serious oil leakage, it can be blocked or riveted with iron wire before welding. Cooling and protection measures should be taken when welding near sealing rubber gaskets or other vulnerable parts.
2. Sticking
Some leaking parts should not be repaired by electric welding. This requires the use of quick plugging glue for sealing. The plugging glue can deal with equipment leakage faults under the condition of oil and pressure. It is easy to use and has strong adaptability, which can save a lot of manpower and material resources. When using plugging glue to plug leaks, the following points should be paid attention to:
1) To master the performance, mixing ratio and operation essentials of the leakage plugging agent;
2) According to the leakage of the equipment and the temperature when dealing with the leakage, the mixing ratio should be adjusted appropriately or a fast curing agent should be added;
3) The leaking parts that need to be blocked should be cleaned and polished, and there should be no sludge, paint, etc.;
4) The oil leakage point cannot be blocked, but the glue should be piled up with acetone-adhered degreased gauze to cover the leakage point until the glue hardens and solidifies and no oil seeps out.
3. Replace
The quality of the transformer seal material has a great influence on the leakage of oil. The non-oil-resistant rubber pad will become fat and soft in a few years, lose its sealing effect and leak oil. For this kind of rubber pad with poor material, it is necessary to find an opportunity to replace it with a qualified sealing rubber pad. In addition to the material of the rubber gasket, the size and thickness of the gasket also have a great influence on the leakage. The compression rate of the rubber pads currently used is generally 35%–40%. From the appearance inspection, the rubber pads that were originally right-angles can be turned into arcs to truly play a sealing role. The rubber rope, rubber pad and “O” ring of unqualified size should be replaced. When there is no suitable specification, it should be redesigned and processed to ensure that they play a sealing role.
